What is Yoga?

The art of yoga is a practice dedicated to creating union between body, mind and spirit. It uses the breath and body to bring awareness and to create balance.

Alessandra has been practicing yoga for 8 years. She is an intuitive yoga teacher who is experienced at guiding students of all levels though the fundamental steps of their yoga practice.

Her classes are creative and fluid, yet carefully sequenced to allow for structure and individual progression. Her main objective is to allow the body to respond freely to gravity by releasing non-essential tension whilst at the same time strengthening postural muscles. She uses the awareness of the breath to aid movement and uses movement as a focus for relaxation. 

Alessandra’s creative approach to Yoga will benefit anybody who wishes to experience greater vitality, more energy, dynamic relaxation and a sense of freedom in movement.
